England Head Coach Fabio Capello attends K4L HIV testing event in Maseru
Over 600 youth gathered in the capital of Lesotho to take part in Kick 4 Life's award winning campaign that links football with HIV education and testing. Fabio Capello and Ray Clemence were also in attendance.
Kick 4 Life recognised for role in tackling HIV
K4L have been named the annual ''Best Performing HIV/AIDS Implementing Partner' by the Lesotho National AIDS Commission. The award was made in recognition of the organisation's innovative education and health programme.
Prince Harry and Prince Seesio visit K4L HIV testing event
The latest event in the 'Test Your Team' campaign took place in Mohale's Hoek, Lesotho in November 2007. Over 500 youth took part in interactive HIV education sessions and tested for HIV.
We are currently seeking players and volunteers to come on our second HIV/AIDS awareness football tour of Lesotho. K4L Allstars will play against local village teams and a Lesotho Premier League team.The 12-day tour is scheduled for February, 2009.
We are pleased to announce that Andrew Surman of England Under 21's is now an official ambassador of Kick 4 Life.
