Kick4Life F.C. is the world’s first soccer club exclusively dedicated to social change. Our mission is to transform the lives and long-term prospects of vulnerable young people in Lesotho, southern Africa. This is primarily achieved through the Kick4Life Academy, an intensive and holistic model that provides a wide range of support including:
- Fully residential secondary school education scholarships
- A tailored character development program
- A range of holistic care and support services including health referrals, regular one-on-one academic tutoring, counseling and nutritional support to ensure proper physical development
- High performance football training
The ultimate objective of the project is to support vulnerable boys and girls into high-performance academics, athletes and leaders capable of obtaining student-athlete scholarships at international colleges and universities. We have already developed partnerships with institutions across the US to ensure a structured pathway for the Academy participants to obtain these fully-funded undergraduate scholarships. The social return on investment is truly phenomenal, with scholarships worth up to £250k / US$325k.
We need your help to deliver this unique package of support to our Academy scholars. This is an incredible opportunity for these young people from extremely underprivileged and vulnerable backgrounds to be genuinely and permanently removed from the cycle of poverty. It gives them the opportunity to turn their potential into excellence, enabling them to become both positive role models and change makers within their communities, helping to build a sustainable, healthy and prosperous future for Lesotho.
