K4L Academy Graduates

The Kick4Life Academy supports participants towards life-changing opportunities to study at international universities and to gain a world class education. Here you can find out about Kick4Life participants who have graduated from the Academy and what they are doing now.

Lesia Thetsane

Lesia started as a K4L participant and quickly progressed to our senior men's team, winning Players' Player of the Year for the 2015-16 season, aged just 19. He was also selected to represent Lesotho's Under 20 national team. His dedication and commitment saw him selected for a scholarship to State Fair Community College in Missouri, USA, where he is studying soccer and Associative Arts.

Mako Makoanyane

Mako started out as a K4L participant and progressed to representing the senior men's team during the 2015-16 season, being named Young Player of the year by his teammates, as well as being selected for Lesotho's Under 20 squad. His hard work saw him awarded a scholarship at State Fair Community College in Missouri, USA, where he is currently studying football and Sciences in Engineering.

Senate Letsie

Senate is the first woman in the history of Lesotho to gain a soccer and academic scholarship in the US. Senate started as a Kick4Life participant before progressing to become a life-skills coach and star player for Kick4Life Ladies and the Lesotho National team. In 2017 K4L secured a scholarship for her at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois where she is majoring in sciences and soccer.

Morapeli Lesoetsa

After several successful seasons playing for Kick4Life's senior men's team in the Lesotho Premier League, Morapeli's dedication and commitment was rewarded with a scholarship at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois where he is studying Liberal Arts and Soccer. Morapeli has previously been called up to the senior Lesotho men's squad.

Boitumelo "Queen" Rabale

Boitumelo, known locally as “Queen”, is one of Lesotho’s brightest young female football players. She has joined her Mehalalitoe teammate, Senate Letsie, and Morapeli Lesoetsa – two former K4L senior team players and Academy graduates – in Godfrey, Illinois at Lewis & Clark Community College where she will be concentrating in General Studies to attain an Associate Degree.
