Pete Fleming MBE, Co-founder & Chief Executive
Pete co-founded Kick4Life in 2005 and is joint Chief Executive. He also sits on the Lesotho Board. Pete led the establishment of Kick4Life on the ground in Lesotho creating a successful and sustainable project from scratch. He is now based in Cape Town. In 2015 Pete was named in the Beyond Sport Inspirational 50 list which profiles the leading figures from the worlds of sport, politics, business and social development who have been instrumental in inspiring and facilitating change through sport.
Steve Fleming MBE, Co-founder & Chief Executive
Steve co-founded Kick4Life in 2005 and is joint Chief Executive. He is author of Radical Football and Eleven, shortlisted for the Peace & Sport Award. From 2013-14, Steve represented Kick4Life as a network board member of streetfootballworld, and in 2015 he was named in the Beyond Sport Inspirational 50 featuring leading figures from the worlds of sport, politics, business and social development who have been instrumental in inspiring and facilitating change through sport.
Motlatsi Nkhahle, Country Director
Motlatsi was born at Qalakheng, Mohale’s Hoek. He studied in the USA where he, in collaboration with educational institutions in China, obtained a BA Degree in Chinese Language and Literatures. He completed a one-year Peripatetic Sociology Research on community coexistence amongst the Chinese and African people, through the Watson Fellowship. He has worked in both public and private sectors in Lesotho, China and USA dealing with diplomatic issues, translation and interpretation, investment issues and research. He joined Kick4Life in 2018 as Operations and Programs Director, before assuming the role of Deputy Country. In January 2021, Motlatsi became Kick4Life’s first Mosotho Country Director.
Mpoetsi Rose Mabathoana, HR Director
As HR & Operations Director, Rose is determined to support staff in their daily and aspirational success, enabling them to optimally carry out Kick4Life’s mission of transforming the lives of vulnerable young people in Lesotho. Rose started her career in hospitality and was previously Director of our social enterprises for 7 years. She holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Culture and Heritage Tourism from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and certificates in Hospitality Department Training and Conducting Outcome Based Assessment.
Maleshoane Mokhathi, Academy Director
Popularly known as “Aunty-Lash”, she joined Kick4Life as a volunteer and became a full time employee in 2013. Lash carries a vast of experience within our programmes, and as a Life-Skills Coordinator, she has played a major role in empowering and developing vulnerable groups that Kick4Life works with. She has also assisted in the promotion of our Social Enterprises and coordinating with the Lesotho Tourism sector. Having previously served as the Operations Manager, Lash now oversees the Kick4Life Academy which supports participants with academic, football and character development.
Maphoka ‘Puky’ Ramokoatsi, Director of Programmes
Puky has been with Kick4Life since 2010, having joined as a Life-Skills volunteer coach. She pioneered the establishment of the Kick4Life Women’s team in 2010, which today remains one of the competitive teams in the Lesotho Super League. Prior to being promoted into the Director of Programmes in June 2022, she was also involved in different roles within Kick4Life, Assistant Project Coordinator, women’s team Manager and Girls United Programme Manager. Her many achievements include being the first Mosotho to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro in 2012 in an initiative to show her stand in advocating for the end of Violence against women and girls. She has also completed the Laureus YES programme that uses the power of sport to change lives and she represented Kick4Life programmes in many international platforms.
‘Mamanti Seetane, Finance Manager
‘Mamanti is a chartered accountant and active member of the Lesotho Institute of Accountants with over 7 years experience in the finance team at Kick4Life. Having started her career with the Media Institute of Southern Africa in 2016 as a Finance and Administration Officer, she has a proven track record in developing financial strategies, budgeting, financial reporting and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
‘Mamphaka Ralehlathe, Hospitality Manager
‘Mamphaka is a qualified hospitality professional with more than a decade of work experience. She is goal-driven, and espouses dedication and ambition to offer the best client-driven experience. With a Bachelor of Technology degree in Project Management from the Central University of Technology, South Africa, and an associate degree in Tourism Management from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Lesotho, she is committed to leveraging her skills and expertise to drive positive social change within the hospitality industry. As an alumna of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI-RLC), she brings a global perspective and a strong network of like-minded professionals dedicated to making a difference. Her vision is to make a meaningful impact as a Hospitality Director within a socially-conscious organization. She hopes to make a meaningful contribution to the Kick4Life’s mission by dedicating her time and skills, and to use hospitality as a force for positive change for the youth of Lesotho.
Tyson Beckford
Fashion model and Hollywood Star, Tyson is an avid supporter of Kick4Life F.C. and is the face our fundraising efforts in the USA. Tyson has hosted a number of events for Kick4Life including our New York Galas.
Giuseppe Rossi
Giuseppe currently stars for Fiorentina in Serie A and is an established Italian international. He has previously played for Manchester United and Villarreal. Giuseppe has been supporting Kick4Life F.C. since 2011, notably backing our 2014 World Cup Fundraising Campaign.
Fabio Capello
Fabio Capello visited Kick4Life in Lesotho as England manager in 2008. Moved by the experience he called on the world of football to do more in the fight against HIV in Lesotho, and invited two Kick4Life participants back to the UK to meet the full England squad!
Thokoloane Makepe
Thokoloane is a Chief Internal Auditor at the First National Bank (FNB) Lesotho. She graduated with Bachelors of Commerce, Insurance and Risk Management and Econometrics from Witwatersrand University in South Africa in 2001. With over 19 years working experience, Thokoloane has extensive experience and knowledge in financial auditing, risk assessment and management as well as ensuring adequacy of corporate governance policies.
Teboho Mphana
Teboho Mphana is an Investment Analyst currently plying his trade at the Pubic Officers’ Defined Contribution Pension Fund. He has experience advising institutional investment funds on achieving numerous investment objectives and organisational goals. Teboho defines himself as being intentional about contributing to a better Lesotho, and sees being a member of the Kick4Life Board as an incredible and unique opportunity to help transform the lives, experiences and outlook of disadvantaged children and young people whilst also having a measurable impact on the long-term sustainable development of the country through football-related initiatives.
Matseliso Lehohla
Matseliso is a Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Trade and Industry specialising international trade agreements and developing legal frameworks and policies to promote a business climate for local and foreign investors in Lesotho. She is committed to improving the life-chances of vulnerable children in Lesotho and interested in how they can be integrated into the economy via government, business and NGO, bringing valuable skills and perspective to Kick4Life’s F.C.’s social enterprises.
David Light
David is a former secondary school teacher and now works in the charity sector in grassroots fundraising and community support. He has a passion for education and youth development and has been involved with Kick4Life since the organisation’s inception in 2005. Dave has taken part in three All Stars tours to Lesotho and regularly speaks in local schools in the UK about the charity’s work.
Jane Meggison-Hill
Jane has 17 years of experience as a people development leader, with expertise in L&D, HR, leadership development, and organisational development. She is currently the Learning and Development Manager at Sport England. Jane is dedicated to social change and has worked and volunteered for a variety of charities over many years, including volunteering for Kick4Life in Lesotho for six months prior to joining as a trustee on her return to the UK.
Benjamin Fishlock
Ben is Group Head for a large media owner and brings a wealth of marketing skills and business experience to his role as trustee. He has been involved with Kick4life right from the start and took part in the first K4L All Stars Tour of Lesotho in 2007. An all-round communicator, Ben has helped to shape a number of marketing campaigns for the charity and is always willing to go the extra mile to promote and raise awareness of Kick4Life.
Alexis Oswald
Alex is a senior finance professional working in the leisure and hospitality sector in London. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 he went on to work in mergers and acquisitions before taking a senior management role in industry. Alex believes strongly that sport has the power to unite people around the world in working towards common goals. He is a keen sports fan and has twice visited Kick4Life’s project in Lesotho.
Craig Morgan
Craig is Global Agency Leader at Google and has extensive experience in digital marketing and online promotion. He has a strong background in business and previously founded a successful digital agency. Craig is a keen sports fan, and a strong believer in the power of sports for social change.
Nick Ward
Nick is a civil servant working in Whitehall for the Department for International Development. He brings a wealth of knowledge on how to successfully establish and monitor large scale development programmes, as well as project management experience from the private sector. With a passion for sport, including running and cycling, Nick was delighted to visit the project in Lesotho in 2019.
Alden Whittaker-Brown
Alden is Head of the Group Executive Office for a global design and engineering consultancy where he specialises in change management, continuous improvement and commercial efficiency. These are some of the skills he applies in his work with Kick-4-Life. Alden has been a long standing supporter, including leading a team of 10 volunteers on an All Stars Tour to Lesotho in 2014.
Peter Molloy
Peter Molloy has been the Founding Director at Edison Investment Research Limited since its creation in 2003, and is currently based in its New York office. Prior to this, he spent ten years as a fund manager in London at Sun Life of Canada and Hermes. He has also been involved in a number of other successful start-up businesses. Peter visited the Kick4Life project in Lesotho in 2013 and 2015.
Anjali Khatri
Anjali Khatri is a Principal Architect at Google, leading the strategic adoption of Google Cloud Platform for Select Retail customers across North America. She is a technical advisor for customers on the journey to optimize, scale, and mature their cloud adoption, focusing on; Infrastructure, Platform, Data, AI/ML, and Cloud Operations. Before Google, Anjali worked at Rapid7 and IBM. She has 10+ years of experience advising customers in customer experience, professional services, software development, open-source technology, and application performance consulting. Outside of Anjali’s day job, she spends her time mentoring high school students and young professionals as they navigate college and helping them kick-start their careers. She’s helped optimize youth mentoring programs to ensure their social, academic, and athletic skills can continue in parallel with minimal disruptions. She enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring new museums, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mike Goodall
Mike has over 15 years of leadership experience in the Inter-Dealer Brokerage industry. He has been a Managing Director at a leading global IDB which consistently held the number one spot in the market. Mike has worked across the globe, primarily in the US and Europe. He has been on the Board of Kick4Life since 2016. Mike and his wife, Laura, have directly supported students through the Kick4Life Academy for several years, enabling them to obtain life changing scholarships at Colleges in the US. In 2021 they will be the official honorees at the annual Kick4Life Fall Gala in New York.
Mike Tudor
Much of Mike’s 37 year career was spent in senior management positions with the world’s largest, most successful energy company. During that time he led project across the globe including Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East as well as North/South America. Mike is delighted to contribute to the life changing work of Kick4Life. Mike’s first visit to Lesotho was in November 2015.

Rhett Power
Rhett has extensive experience in international development and has previously worked for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), serving 7 years in the former Soviet Republics of Central Asia. Prior to that he was Director of National Service Programs for Habitat for Humanity and previously served in the US Peace Corps. Rhett also has a very successful track record in the private sector having co-founded Wild Creations in 2007. The start-up toy company was quickly built up into the 2010 Fastest Growing Business in South Carolina
Amir R. Eftekhari
Vice President, International Affairs and Global Engagement – ValidaTek, Inc. With over 20 years spearheading international development initiatives across 50+ countries for blue-chip firms and clients including USAID, MCC, USTDA, EBRD, and other multilateral banks, Amir serves as a catalyst for accelerating international growth and driving equity, sustainability, and resiliency across global business markets including: digital transformation, cyber-security, climate resilience, energy transition, healthcare, and green infrastructure. He has worked on historic international trade agreements and led high-value, high impact, projects across the globe – while living across East Africa, the Middle East, and SE Asia. Through his work with the UN and World Economic Forum, he has witnessed how sport builds bridges between individuals and across communities, providing a fertile ground for sowing the seeds of development and peace.
Oleg Bershadsky
Over the course of his 20-year career, Oleg has held positions in finance, strategy, business operations, and most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at a publicly traded ad tech company. Oleg has a proven track record of successfully leading high-performing and high-growth companies, while driving global scale and innovation. In recognition of his accomplishments, Oleg was named to OnCon’s top 100 COOs list in 2022. He is enthusiastic about applying his experience to support the mission of Kick4Life.
