Yelimala rallies team for Mafeteng test
Yelimala is hoping to continue the 'Kick4Life mood’ but knows her title-chasing side face a tricky test of Mafeteng side on Sunday at Thaba-Tseka.
Kick-off is 11am
Yelimala’s women have enjoyed an impressive start to the Women Super League campaign and remain log leaders following last week's entertaining 2-1 win at LDF. Morakane Mokhothu and Mats’ukulu Motloheloa were on target as Kick4Life edged LDF to make it two wins in a row.
Speaking at her pre-match interview with Kick4Life media, she said: 'We are up against a strong side on Sunday. In the previous games that we played against them, they always gave us a run for our money. We need to be calm, we have to be patient against them and use the opportunities that we get and also make sure we do not concede”.
She continued by saying she has welcomed back a number of players who were nursing minor injuries after Sunday’s match. “Fokothi, Molemo and Sentje have resumed light training and we will be assessing them while our goalkeeper remains doubtful but our medical team is working hard to get her ready. We need all the points on Sunday”.
Mafeteng are currently third on the standings with 3 points after winning and losing once from the two matches played. Having gone through a defeat already, they will be looking to make it difficult for Kick4Life on Sunday.
