Thetsane pens a move to Comets

Kick4Life Academy graduate and Lesotho international, Lesia Thetsane has secured a move to the Kansas City Comets on a three-year contract. The Comets compete in the Major Arena Soccer League, the highest level of professional indoor soccer in the United States.

The hard marshalling Thetsane completed this move from Kaw Valley FC of the USL2, where he featured in 8 matches.

Speaking to Kick4Life media, Thetsane, who played semi-professional indoor soccer when he first arrived in the US in 2016, welcomed the new challenge: "I’m excited for the season to get underway and I’m really happy to make it in the professional set up. The game is quicker and it’s a good challenge for me, for my player profile and I am looking at working hard to help my team”.
