
Thetsane 'honoured' with call up
After Lesotho national team Head Coach Vaseline Jelusic announced his final squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on Tuesday, Kick4Life Academy graduate Lesia Thetsane has expressed his delight to have made the final cut of the team.
Lesotho have been drawn against Côte d'Ivoire, Zambia and Comoros in Group-H and Likuena kick start their campaign with an away affair against Comoros next month on Friday the 3rd.
Speaking on the call up, the 25 year old United States based, Ballard F.C captain said “It’s an honour to have been called up, I feel so privileged to represent my country. I promise to continue working hard and making the nation proud”.
Thetsane is no rookie to national team duty, having received 7 call ups which included the COSAFA tournament and the AFCON qualifiers. He has played a total of 516 minutes for Lesotho in the senior level.
