Tale in Lesotho squad to face Comoros
Kick4Life striker Thapelo Tale is eager to make the most of his call-ups to help Likuena in the CHAN qualifies.
The 28-year-old, who scored an equalizer for Lesotho against Tanzania last month in the AFCON qualifiers, also started a game against Nambia in the COSAFA tournament held at South Africa last week.
‘Of course it is important for every Lesotho player to be part of the national team. Everyone wants to play for their country. I just think for myself, it is something that will be a good achievement for me to help my country. But nothing is certain, so I’ve got to work hard, perform well, be consistent and hopefully my contribution will help Lesotho,” said Tale
‘Having said that, I just want to say I’m happy to be here and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of the squad and to be included in the squad. I’m excited to get going, and it’s a must win for us against Comoros, so we will give it our best,”
Meanwhile, Bokang Mothoana had to be left behind as he is still nursing an injury he sustained while at training before their first match at COSAFA. Lesotho face Comoros away from home on Saturday 15th July. The match kicks off at 15:00.
