Senior teams prepare for weekend action

The senior men and women are on their travels on weekend as they search for wins against Swallows and Limkokwing University Women in their respective leagues.

The men visit swallows in the Vodacom Premier League at Ratjomose on Sunday afternoon at 2pm while the women will be in Thaba Tseka against Limkokwing in the Dare to Dream Champions League at 11am.

After losing 1-0 to LCS last Saturday, the Motebang Makhetha coached outfit will be targeting 3 points to improve their log standings. Makhetha welcomes the return of Tanki Seoli, who served red card suspension and Mohlomi Makhetha who was also absent due to an injury. Thapelo Mohale has started light training under the supervision of the medical team.

Last season when these two sides met at Nyakosoba, Ts’eliso Botsane scored a late winner to hand Kick4Life glory against the Mazenod side. A victory on Sunday would take the Old Europa men to 10 points, and will put them back into the top8 bracket.

The women on the other hand will be aiming to maintain their good start of the league after seeing through Thaba Tseka Ladies 5-0 last week. They currently occupy the top spot in the league and this will be a motivation to bag another 3 points on Sunday.

Coach Elizabeth Yelimala has been boosted by the return of Senate Letsie from the United States of America. The prolific striker was amongst the scorers last week. Her combination of Nteboheleng Mohoshela upfront will make a formidable striking force to produce the desired outcomes.
