Puky graduates in Women's Leadership

Kick4Life's Director of Women's Programmes, Makatleho 'Puky' Pitso has graduated with a certificate of Women in Leadership on Friday afternoon in Maseru.

The course, led by AUSC Region 5 and TAFISA, is aimed at empowering women who are engaged in sports, with Puky having had a significant impact in football circles of Lesotho. This has included helping to establish Kick4Life Women’s team, which today competes in the Lesotho Super League, as well as leading our Girls United community programme supporting vulnerable girls and young women.

Speaking on this milestone, Puky said: "I feel so proud to have completed this course because it has equipped me with skills on how to continue growing in my initiatives to empower women, especially those in sports. It came at the right time when I have just transitioned into a role of Director of Women programmes at Kick4Life. Most of the applicants were from different sporting federations or associations in the country, but me being from Kick4Life and being actively engaged in sports, it was an added advantage for me to receive this opportunity and I am happy".
