Match Preview: K4L Ladies face leaders
By: Reitumetse Tlopo
Kick4Life will be eager to put more pressure on the e Women Super League leaders Likhosatsana when the two sides meet at Maputsoe, Difa Stadium on Saturday Afternoon.
Three points would see Puseletso Mokhosi’s charges go level on points with the current leaders and could even find themselves at the summit of the table should they manage to win the game with lots of goals.
Kick4Life are fresh from their impressive 9-0 win to Liverpool over the weekend and they will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run of nine games.
Lesotho international Senate Letsie who has found her hobby in putting the ball in the back of the net together with her counterpart Kefuoe Makoa will be hoping to outshine Likhosatsana. Both ‘Natty’ and ‘Jabu’ have both scored 15 goals and are challenging Kholu Lebakeng (16) and current leader of the scoring charts Boitumelo Rabale (20) who now plays her football in South Africa with Bloemfontein Celtic.
Likhosatsana have suffered a blow losing their star player Boitumelo “Queen” Rabale at the start of the season to Bloemfontein Celtics, but they never allowed that to be their set back as they went on to dominate the league.
Likhosatsana are on top of the standings with 33points, winning all their premier league games so far. They will be looking to continue with their unbeaten record when they meet Kick4Life on Saturday and make sure that they open the gap wide between them and K4L.
With so much at stake here, this game is expected to be epic and one thing for sure is there won’t be a dull moment.
