Mafoso joins K4L as Assistant Coach
Kick4Life Football Club is delighted to announce that Bob Mafoso has joined the technical team as the Assistant Coach.
Mafoso’s unveiling was done at the club’s press conference on Monday afternoon where the Director of Football Chris Bullock expressed his delight to have him at the team: “We are delighted to announce that Bob Mafoso is here as the new assistant coach. He has agreed to come and work with us as the assistant to the current head coach Leslie Notsi. For us it’s obviously exciting to strengthen our technical team further with such a well-known good coach, he has achieved a lot already in his coaching career.”
Bullock further stated that Mafoso brings a wealth of successes from his previous clubs such as Likila, Sandawana and Bantu and is fully confident that he will add more value to the team.
Mafoso’s dedication to the game pays off with a recognition by an appointment as an Assistant Coach at the national U20 team that made it into the finals of the 2017 COSAFA tournament. He comes at Kick4Life with accolades that include taking Sandawana into the top4 and winning two league titles with Bantu.
He thanked the management of Kick4Life for giving him an opportunity to grow his career even further: “I want to thank the management of Bantu for giving me a chance to be part of their team, I have learnt a lot. My good relations with Coach Notsi and also the set up at Kick4Life made it easy for me to accept the offer. It’s good to join one of the greatest and fasted growing brands in this country, it was an opportunity I could not say no to when it was presented to me.”
