Kick4Life travel to CCX as EPL resumes
The 2020/21 Vodacom Premier League returns to action this weekend and roads lead to Leribe where Kick4Life will look to resume their season campaign with three points against CCX.
Kick-off is at 3pm
The rising statistics of Covid-19 infections saw the football and other activities being put on hold as the country continues to take measures to minimise the spread of the virus since December.
When the league went into the break, Kick4Life had accumulated 7 points from 4 matches, while CCX, who are the premier league rookies had pocked 4 points, and were placed 10th.
Speaking ahead of this much anticipated encounter, Coach Motebang Makhetha said this will be a tough match as CCX are a closed book.
“It’s always a challenge playing against the side that has just gained promotion because we don’t know much about them, but my team is ready. We just need to focus on our strengths and work more on what we can do,” he said.
Makhetha said the team played some friendlies building up to this match and his technical department was impressed with the progress from his side.
