Kick4Life set for MGC tournament

Kick4Life will take part in the first ever MGC competition that will take place this weekend at Setsoto stadium.

This is an eight-team tournament and will see the first four teams opening it on Saturday and while on Sunday Kick4Life will battle against Lioli in the category of other four teams. Only two teams will make it through to the finals that will be played at Mants’onyane the following weekend, where they will meet another two teams from Mants’onyane.

Kick4Life have been paired with Lioli while Bantu will entertain LDF. The winner between Kick4Life and Lioli will face either Bantu or LDF on the same day at 4pm. The first match will be played at 9:30am and will be Bantu against LDF, while Kick4Life-Lioli will follow at 11:30am.

Director of Football Chris Bullock said they are humbled to have got the recognition and the invitation into this tournament. “To us this is a really exciting, it says to us we are being recognized in Lesotho football. This is also an opportunity for our players to experience participating in the big occasions and playing against power houses like Lioli is always a welcomed challenge.”

Meanwhile, on the same day, Kick4Life Ladies will entertain Mafeteng Sistas at Setsoto at 2pm in the Lesotho Women Super League. They will be looking to bounce back after losing to bitter rivals LDF.
