Khubetsoana Kamela and Sanele Phantse scored on both halves as Kick4Life edged Linare  2-1 in the Econet Premier League action and return to winning ways on Sunday afternoon.

Ts’eliso Botsane and Paballo Mafeka returned to the starting XI after missing their previous encounter due to injuries. Kick4Life launched an early attack and Kamela opened the scoring within two minutes from the spot.

Linare responded by forcing Lebohang Nkieane into a fine clearance, redirecting the ball off target in the 10th minute. Seeiso Lerotholi was almost punished for pulling a blunder at the back, but Siyabonga Mkhize missed the goal with the goalkeeper off his mark in the 13th minute.

Rethabile Selonyane was involved in two occasions, first trying to set up Lebajoa Mosehlenyane upfront before his shot took a deflection in the 30th minute. Innocent Ncala was called into action to block Mosehlenyane in the box. Few minutes before the break, Rethabile Rasethuntsa missed a rebound.

Coach Katiso Mojakhomo then pulled out Botsane for Phantse immediately at the start of the second half. Mkhize should have scored in the 46th minute but he missed a seater in the box. Kamela made a delightful pass to Phantse in the box but the Linare shot-stopper was quick to react and stop the danger in the 51st minute.

At the hour mark, Relebohile Thulo was introduced in place of Bonang Mohapi. Linare started to send more men upfront in search for an equalizer. Mosehlenyane blasted high at goals in the 66th minute.

Sending more of their players forward left spaces for Kick4Life and Thulo took advantage of the situation. He collected the ball in the midfield and pushed forward, crossed into the box and the ball found Phantse unmarked and he made no mistake but put the ball at the back of the net in the 68th minute.

However, Linare were given hopes of reclaiming their glory when they were awarded a penalty in the 72nd minute. Jerry Kamela stepped up to pull one for Tse Tala. Man of The Match, Lebohang Nkieane was excellent to deny Selinko Tokeng in the dyeing minutes to claim three points for Kick4Life.
