Kick4Life host Liphakoe in midweek VPL clash

The Vodacom Premier League continues this Thursday with Kick4Life aiming to continue their winning streak when they host Liphakoe at LCS grounds.

Kick off is 11am.

Back in familiar surroundings after two weeks on the road, the home side will be in search of a third consecutive victory.

Currently seventh in the standings, a win on Thursday could see the team pocketing 16 points, with a game behind some other teams.

The hosts will be missing the hard marking defender, Pontso Khotso who is still recovering from the head injury sustained against Sefothafotha.

Looking at the head to head statistics since 2015, Kick4Life hold the upper hand against Liphakoe as from 9 league meetings, they won 5, lost 2 and drew 2.

Liphakoe are placed eleventh in the log standings. They played to a goalless draw with Lijabatho last weekend. The Quthing based side are now under the guidance of Mpitsa Marai and former Kick4Life assistant Coach, Ts’epo Hlojeng.

After parting ways with Kick4Life in 2019, Lebohang Nkeane, Paballo Mafeka and Nkopane Tabi signed with Liphakoe, and they will try by all means not to lose against their former team.
