K4L weekend football round up

Kick4Life Ladies continued their good spell in the Lesotho Women Super League by crushing Mafeteng Sistas 6-0 on Saturday afternoon at Old Europa.

A 15 year old Morakane Mokhothu scored a hat trick to climb at the top of the scoring charts with 15 goals, while Nteboheleng Mohoshela continued with her fine form, netting 2 goals. Liako Makhoane also managed to register her name on the scoring list.

The win takes the Old Europa ladies to 29 points, with just one point separating them with the current log leaders, LDF. Things have now got interesting as eyes will now be at the encounter between K4L and LDF and it’s a possible title decider.

On the other hand, Kick4Life men displayed better performance against current log leader Bantu on Saturday despite losing 3-1. They had a better first half, which saw them going into the break without conceding.

Even after conceding the first goal in the second half, they soldered on and Tanki Seoli put them on level terms from a well taken set piece in the 73rd minute. However, two late goals from Tsietsi Khooa saw Bantu walking away with three points at the end of the 90 minutes.
