K4L travel to Linare on Good Friday
Kick4Life head north on Good Friday to take on Linare at Maputsoe DiFA stadium in the Econet Premier League match.
Kick off is at 3pm
The Old Europa side will be looking to pick up points after their disappointing loss to LMPS at home this past weekend. Bob Mafoso’s charge lie at the sixth position with 32 points and cannot afford another setback as it could lead to their stake in the top 8 being compromised.
Linare managed to claim three points against Kick4Life when they were at LCS in the first round and Mafoso said his team is also capable of turning things around at Maputsoe.
“If they did it here, why can’t we do it in Maputsoe. We are fully aware that they are not an easy team to deal with but we are coming at them with all we have, we cannot afford to drop points at this stage.”
Linare are fresh from last weekend’s 1-0 victory against the bottom placed Swallows and will be approaching this match in confidence. The fact that they beat Kick4Life in the first round is another factor that will give them morale.
Tse Tala, as they are also known, are currently placed eleventh and are eight points away from seeing themselves in the top8 mix.
