K4L travel to Likhopo in EPL
Kick4Life are eyeing their second straight win in the Econet Premier League when they travel to Ratjomose to take on Likhopo on Saturday afternoon.
Kick off is at 4pm
This is one fixture to watch as it sees two national team coaches at loggerheads. Bob Mafoso is in charge of the U20 while Halemakale Mahlaha is coaching U17. Another aspect is that both teams currently boost majority of upcoming players who are energetic.
Kick4Life hold an impressive record against Likhopo with the Old Europa boys winning 6 of their 7 meetings and have not lost to them. In the first round, Bonang Mohapi’s double and Khubetsoana Kamela’s penalty inspired K4L to a 3-1 win over Likhopo.
Speaking ahead of this clash, Mafoso anticipates a tightly contested affair between the two sides.
“We come into this game having won against Swallows and it’s a good thing as it builds confidence within us. However, we also need to be cautious because they (Likhopo) come into this match having lost twice in a row and obviously they will want to change that”, he said.
Meanwhile Likhopo will fight tooth and nail on Saturday especially because they are playing at their own backyard. They creative player, Morena Mohlominyane is a marvel to watch. They also signed Katleho Lekaka from Swallows.
