K4L target first major silverware

Kick4Life are aiming for their first major silverware this weekend in the LNIG Top8. The action starts with a semi-final between K4L and LCS on Saturday April 8th at Setsoto Stadium.

Kick-off is at 13:00hrs

A victory would see K4L progress to a final showdown on Sunday with either Bantu or Lioli, who play later on Saturday in the other semi-final. The losing team will compete in a third/fourth knock out match.

K4L's good form this year sees them third in the VPL and in the Top8 semis for the first time after defeating Sandawana over two legs in the quarters.

Coach Leslie Notsi will be boosted by the return of Thapelo Tale who missed their last clash with Matlama after picking an injury while at the national duty against Mozambique. Tale holds a good record in the Top8, scoring three goals in two games against Sandawana.

LCS coach Mpitsa Marae has also bought in new players to reinforce his team, with Lehlohonolo Moabi marshalling the midfield and Daniel upfront. LCS will also likely welcome back midfield maestro Sepiriti Malefane to the starting XI after being stretched off in the first half against Bantu.
