K4L take on Rovers in the WSL

After a two week break, which Kick4Life Women’s team coach, Elizabeth 'Lizzy' Yelimala, stated was very much needed, the Europa Ladies, standing 2nd position in the league table, are back in action this Saturday against Rovers Ladies, as the 2nd leg of the 2022/23 Women's Super League season gets underway. Rovers are currently in 10th position in the league.

During the 1st leg, K4L won a whopping 9-0 against this team and they come into the 2nd round hoping to keep the winning record as it is. The coach states that they have really worked hard in training in preparation for this game as they take every game seriously regardless of their history with the team.

Commenting on their level of comfort playing on away grounds, Yelimala stated that the girls will have to learn to adjust to every pitch.  The last time Kick4Life played at PTC ground was in the 1st leg, where they were hosted by the Police team, Basetsana FC, where they drew a 2-2. And as they play the varsity team this weekend, they will really need to take their coach’s advice to make the ground work for them.

With 1 loss,1 draw and 7 wins up to this point, the Blue jersey wishes to increase only on their wins, and winning this game according to coach Lizzy would mean a lot to the team.
