Kick4Life find themselves still rooted at the sixth position in the Econet Premier League despite losing to LMPS this afternoon at LCS grounds.

Goals by Nkau Lerotholi and Teboho Makhele were enough to down Kick4Life at their home ground. Coach Bob Mafoso said this is one performance he would want to forget as his side did not play well.

“Today’s result is disappointing, we did not play well from the first half, we struggled in the midfield hence why I had to introduce Ralekoti in the second half. It’s frustrating when you lose to teams that you are fighting for the top8 finish with, but we will have to put today’s game behind us and focus on the upcoming clash against Linare next Friday,” he said.

Khubetsoana Kamela and Tseliso Botsane created some good moves infornt of goals in the 7th minute. Norman Kumatse managed to create space for himself but he was blocked by Kaneli in the 12th minute.

Then from a corner kick, LMPS were able to take the lead through Nkau Lerotholi who tapped the ball into the net in the 19th minute. Moments later, Kamela saw his set piece by deflected by the wall. Just before the break, Motlatsi Sebapala was forced into a fine save to deny Tsoarelo Mokoaleli.

After the break, Tsepang Ntsenyane found himself in good space outside the box and launched a missile but he was denied by the post in the 45th minute. However, three minutes later, Kick4Life conceded another goal.

Immediately Mafoso brought in Mokhahlane and Mokoteli Mohapi, and the substitutes looked to have a great impact as Kick4Life managed to reach into the final third of LMPS. Mohapi should have pulled a goal in the 60th minute but he missed the net with the goalkeeper off his mark.

Olomo Desire came on late in the game and nearly assisted goal but Mohapi again missed in the box as the game ended 2-0 against Kick4Life.

On the other results, Kick4Life women rounded their Super League with a 5-0 win over Berea Ladies on Saturday while Kick4Life development side advanced to the finals of the C-division play offs.
