K4L seek redemption against Bantu

After losing to Bantu in the first round of the Econet Premier League, Kick4Life and Bantu meet again on Saturday at Setsoto stadium in a possible thriller as the Old Europa side seek three points.

Kickoff is 3:30pm

Both teams have been at loggerheads recently and Bantu have dominated their two meetings this year, both in the cup and league competitions.

Kick4Life have "wiped the slate clean" and are ready to "start over", this is according to Assistant Coach Paul Westren. He said the entire squad have closed ranks after recent results, with every player singing from the same hymn sheet as they aim to comeback against the current league leaders.

“The morale is very high in the team, the boys are looking forward to this game. We have conceded 9 goals in two games against Bantu, so that is the motivation to the boys to go out there and reclaim their glory,” he said.

Westren said if they can fight well together as a unit, defend well and be quick on transition, they can turn things around at Setsoto stadium. He said there may be some changes in the line-up as some players have picked knocks and will be out on weekend.

Kick4Life is currently placed ninth in the log standings with 16 points and they are in need for full three points to help them climb up the table.
