It has been a busy year of programme delivery to date, working with a range of partners including BT Sport, the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, the Vodafone Foundation, PSI, Catholic Relief Services and Football for Hope.

Through Test Your Team we have reached 4.386 young people with health education and HIV testing & counselling opportunities. 73 identified as HIV positive have been linked to medical treatment and follow up support.

A further HIV prevention initiative has reached 3,310 young people. The programme focuses on contraceptives and birth control methods as a means of prevention from infection. Following the curriculum facilitation, we distribute condoms to the participants in an effort to encourage safe sex practices. We have also referred 209 participants to partner organisations to access additional services.

Finally, the DREAMS initiative has reached 7,437 Adolescent Girls and Young Women (ages 10 - 24) in 21 councils of Berea and Maseru. Our curriculum teaches life skills, financial literacy and employability skills. Our participants often cite the financial portion of the curriculum as highly useful as they learn such things as budgeting and responsible spending.

Community Programmes Director, Stephen Moerane, said: "It has been an incredibly dynamic six months and we are pleased to have delivered such wide-reaching interventions, supporting many young people, not only with immediate health challenges, but with the development of key life skills that are vital to future success."
