K4L open the season with Liphakoe

Kick4Life will host Liphakoe on Sunday afternoon as the Econet Premier League kick starts this weekend.

The match will be played at LCS grounds, 1pm.

Last season saw the fixture developing into a close encounter and the Old Europa side are looking at this round to stamp their authority. Liphakoe collected six points at Kick4Life in the 2018/19 season.

This will be Coach Mojakhomo’s first game at the helm since joining the club last month and he will be eager to start the season with 3points. Monne Pitso is the only player not available for selection as he is still nursing an injury he picked last season.

The new signings are Johannes Molapo, Teboho Ramothobi, Matlapeng Ncala, Tanki Seoli, Molemo Ntaote, Maphaki Matobako and Nkopane Tabi. All these players will be aiming to make their presence at Old Europa loud when being given a chance. Thapelo Mohale and Leroele Motinyane have been promoted to the senior side.

Liphakoe on the other hand are also looking for a positive start of their campaign. Winning two encounters with Kick4Life last season could be a morale boost into the Sunday clash. Talismanic Ts’epang Makapa has been ruled out for this game due to injury.
