Kick4Life played its season opener game in the A Division over the weekend against Mzamane FC in Mokhotlong, suffering a 3-2 loss. It was the first time that the teams have met.
Tšilo Mahase scored a brace for Kick4Life, giving the Europa boys the lead after 14 minutes with a header, assisted by Letsoetsa Katleho. Mzamane Themba equalised 2 minutes later for Mzamane FC, before K4L took the lead once again in the 23rd minute, netted again by Mahase, and this time assisted by Tamako Malefetsane. Mokhethi Rapuleng equalised for Mzamane just a few seconds before half-time.
Returning after the break, Kick4Life made a number of substitutions with returning player, Moalosi Lebeko, coming in for Lengoasa Likotsi, our newest signing, Nkuatsana Phora for Khoarane Thuso, Senamolele Tšepo for Lesoetsa Katleho and Mojakhomo Malefetsane for Tamako Malefetsane.
Tsie Lehlohonolo scored the winnner for Mzamane from the penalty spot at 69 minutes, winning the game by a 3-2 score.
