Kick4Life finished a highest ever fourth place in the Vodacom Premier League after a 3-0 defeat to newly crowned champions Bantu at Maputsoe DiFA Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the final fixture of the 2016/17 season.
Bantu grabbed the lead in the opening nine minutes with a fine free header of Lazola Jokojokwane before Litsepe Marabe could double the efforts in the thirty-forth minute. Five minutes later, Hlompho Kalake with a well-taken shot made it 3-0.
Thabiso Brown managed to create space for himself on numerous occasions and passed through the much-admired Bantu defence. In the twenty-ninth minute, he forced Sedisa to make a brilliant save denying him a goal.

Leslie Notsi made some changes in the second half, bringing in youngster Chido Shoniwa on the right back, while Tseliso Ramafikeng and Ntoya-Malonga added the numbers going forward at the midfield.
Five minutes after the restart, Kamohelo Makateng made an excellent pass to Motlelepula Chabeli and Thabo Sedisa used his feet to deny him.
Then in the seventieth minute, Brown went close to scoring as his strong freekick forced Sedisa to fist over the bar to make a corner. Mokhanya Mokhanya also did well in the seventy-seventh minute to save Kalake’s grounder.
The introduction of Ntoya-Malonga and Ramafikeng brought confidence to Kick4Life side and more chances were created. However, Bantu held on to the 3-0 victory, and Kick4Life slipped to fourth as LCS beat Sandawana.
For Bantu, they claimed their second league title since the 2013/14 season with 62 points.
