K4L face Liphakoe in Vodacom Premier League
By: Reitumetse Tlopo
Kick4Life will look to continue their winning streak in the Vodacom Premier League when they host Liphakoe on Sunday afternoon at LCS grounds.
Kick off is at 13:00hrs
Kick4Life claimed a fourth successive league win when they defeated Sky Battalion 3-0 at home last Sunday. The Old Europa side has claimed eighteen points from home matches this season. They are placed first on the Vodacom premier league with 38 points from seventeen matches.
While these two sides have gone head-to-head frequently in the Premier League for the past two seasons and also in the first division, any tussle between them is not to be missed, and meeting on Sunday will be one of the standout ties of the Premier League.
Liphakoe endured something of an identity crisis at times this season under Coach Teele Nts’onyane, although they are beginning to get their act together since being under the new mentor.
The January acquisitions of Lehlomela Ramabele and Thato Moabi have helped breathe fresh impetus into the team, providing fierce competition for attacking places in the starting XI. They have not lost in their last three league matches where they won two and drew one.
