K4L to face Liphakoe in Quthing
The Vodacom Premier League returns to action this weekend after the Top4 Independence Cup with Kick4Life visiting Liphakoe on Sunday afternoon at Quthing, Upper Moyeni.
Kick off is at 14:00hrs
In their last league encounter, Kick4Life won 3-1 against Linare, thanks to a brace by Bokang Mothoana and a penalty by Thabiso Brown. Kick4life and Liphakoe met twice in the Premier League last season with Kick4Life winning one, and also playing to a draw. The last time they met was in Quthing and Kick4Life won 2-0.
Leslis Notsi’s charges have been on solid performance since the start of the season. This weekend could see Monne Pitso back in action after suffering a groin that side-lined him for two matches. Also joining him could be Morapeli Lesoetsa who missed Linare’s encounter.
Liphakoe on the other hand welcomed back their trio Tsepo Toloane, Motlatsi Nkhabu and Jankie Tsoeu from their injuries, and that means they have the best of their squad. Forward Thabo Matsoele has been on fire in the recent past games scoring braces against Sandawana and Butha Buthe Warriors.
On the same note as Kick4Life, Liphakoe have been on an exceptional form this season with three wins after seven games. They have played to a draw on two occasions and lost twice. The “mighty hawks” have the best record when playing at home and with Kick4Life having defeated them at Quthing last season, they will be looking to settle the score on Sunday when they meet the Maseru based outfit.
