K4L face LDF as Premier League resumes
Kick4Life head coach Motebang Makhetha is looking forward to a tough test against LDF in the Vodacom Premier League on Saturday afternoon at Ratjomose.
Kick-off is 15:00.
His charges head into this game after being out of action for more than three months due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic in Lesotho.
Makhetha said: “We have been out for so long and we understand the situation, there was nothing we could do about it, it’s the pandemic and we need to be careful. In terms of the preparations, yes I have full trust in my team, we face a team that is beaming in confidence after winning last weekend, but my boys are at equal task to make everyone proud”.
He welcomes a good headache as he has nearly the whole squad available ahead of this much anticipated encounter. Only Ponts’o Khotso will not be available as he is nursing a long-term injury. The addition of new players gives him enough options to make a selection.
Katleho Mohlabi and Letlotlo Molomo have been promoted from the development team while Rethabile Monyane and Realeboha Ralenkoane have been acquired from Liphakoe and Sky Battalion respectively.
“It’s one of those situations where the technical team is happy to have this good problem, having this pool of players gives you options. Even the regular starters must make sure they are up for the challenge because these incoming players are ready”.
In the first round when Kick4Life hosted LDF, the Old Europa based outfits claimed the three points after securing 2-1 win at LCS grounds.
