K4L clinch first Top4 finish

Kick4Life secured a Top4 position in the Vodacom Premier League with two games to spare after their 0-0 draw with Rovers on Saturday at LCS grounds. This qualifies the club for the illustrious Top4 tournament next season, as well as the Top8.

Director of Football Chris Bullock and Coach Leslie Notsi expressed their satisfaction with the team’s performance in its third season since gaining promotion to the elite league.

“To have finished in the top4 is a fantastic achievement made by everybody from the technical staff, players and everyone who has worked with the team this season,” Bullock said during the team’s press conference

Also showing his delight was coach Leslie Notsi who said it feels good to be in the Top4 especially with it not been an easy season but he is proud of what his team has achieved . Notsi further stated that this season, they showed that as Kick4Life they can compete with the big clubs.

Kick4Life Co-founder Steve Fleming said, "This is another important step in demonstrating that an elite football club can exist exclusively to serve the local community and to enact social change. Success on the pitch for K4L equals greater impact off it for vulnerable youth."

Kick4Life is currently in the third position with 45 points and a win against LDF on weekend would increase chances of finishing on the third place. For their last two matches the team has to play against LDF and title chasers, Bantu.
