History repeated itself this Saturday as Kick4Life once again drew 1-1 with the police team Basetsana United FC in the latest Women's Super League game.
Hosted at Sacred Heart Commercial High School Ground in Saint Monica, the result was a repeat of the 1st round fixture, and the two teams had to get to grips with a slippery surface after heavy rains in the preceding days.
The first half went off goalless, but after 76 minutes, Kick4Life’s Jobo Puseletso put 'the Europeans' in the lead with an assist from Motloheloa Matšukulu. Basetsana equalized from the penalty spot in the last minute of the game after a handball by Mokhanya Mosa, earning both teams a point and maintaining their 2nd and 3rd positions in the log standing.
Having incurred a few injuries, Kick4Life's Coach Lizzy is already preparing her squad for another game next weekend.
