K4L in B-Division play-off final

Kick4Life men's team will contest the final of the B Division play-offs on Saturday 18th March against Semunye at the Bambatha Sports Arena.

Kick-off: 1300

Nicknamed 'Juventude' to reflect the youth focus of the squad, the blue jersey defeated Leqele United last weekend, bagging a 4-0 victory to secure a place in the final. Semunye FC and Kick4Life FC are no strangers to each other, and they have crossed paths a number times in the past with K4L edging the encounters.

Despite nine injuries incurred by some of Coach Mukete Mbho’s players in the game against Leqele United, the coach stated that they plan on continuing their attacking strategy which has worked well so far this season. He stated that all injured players have worked hard to recover during the week and will most likely be seen in the weekend lineup. He added that he, along with the boys are really motivated and are looking forward to the weekend’s game.

Mukete said: ‘Qualifying for district playoffs would be proof of hard work and that we have produced good player, even if we don’t win, I still believe we have a good plan in bringing up developed players. For the boys, it says they have worked so hard for this year and it is finally beginning to pay-off.'
