K4L and LCS face off as EPL returns

Kick4Life will face LCS on Saturday afternoon as the Econet Premier League returns to action after the international break.

Kickoff is at 3pm

It is going to be a double header at LCS ground, Liphakoe will entertain Majantja at 1pm and the Kick4Life encounter will follow shortly at 3pm. Ten points separate the two sides as LCS has bagged 41points and Kick4Life accumulated 31.

With six games to play, this is that time of the season where teams are looking to gather points and finish in better places. K4L are currently placed sixth on the standings and a win on Saturday could improve their chances of finishing in the top8, while top4 would be a bonus.

LCS have always been tough opponents for K4L. The last time the Old Europa outfit won a match against them was in 2015, so this is the perfect opportunity to reclaim their glory. In their previous encounter, LCS recorded a 4-0 victory.

Coach Bob Mafoso received a major boost with the return of the hardworking winger Bonang Mohapi after the injury that kept him on the sidelines.

On the other hand, the fact that LCS will be playing at their own turf is another added advantage. They have the paced wingers in the names of Thetso Posholi and Thabo Seakhoa. In the midfield, Sepiriti Malefane gives them shape while Thapelo Tale will use his athletic to keep Kick4Life defence busy.
