Five K4L players selected for Region Games
Five players from Kick4Life were included in the final list of the Lesotho U17 football team that is competing in the 9th edition of the African Union Sports Council Region 5 Youth Games Maseru 2020 (postponed from last year).
Kabelo Ngatane, Seabata Tsemane, Sechaba Mohapi, Katiso Tsoamotse and Ts’epo Senamolele have all progressed through Kick4Life’s youth development system, with a focus on football, health, education and personal development.
Kabelo, who captained the side in the opening fixture against Zambia, said: “I am happy to be afforded an opportunity to be with the national team, the experience that comes with this opportunity will help me grow in my career as a footballer. It has always been my dream to see myself in the national team colours.”
Tsemane added: “The aim is to continue working hard, staying disciplined and working well with the technical team. Kick4Life has contributed so much in my life, on and off the pitch. The programmes here come in very handy especially in situations like this when one has to represent the country.”
