Development Squad set for King's Cup

Kick4Life Development team will participate in the 2019 King’s Birthday Football Games tournament that will be held in Ha-Seeiso, Thaba-Bosiu this Saturday.

The tournament is hosted annually by Thaba-Bosiu Sports and Talent Organization with the aim of bringing the youth together to showcase their talents. Last year, Kick4Life finished third after beating Thaba-Bosiu Selection Squad.

Coach Molefi Katane has hailed the tournament for giving chance to the upcoming youngsters to express their abilities in the pitch. He said for his side to be playing against teams in their high divisions is a challenge they welcome.

“It’s an exciting challenge, we welcome it. This will be part of our preparations going into the new season especially because we just gained promotion into the B-division. Last season the boys did their best, we lost 1-0 to Swallows who are competing in our Premier League and went on to claim victory against a select of players from Thaba-Bosiu,” Katane said.

Kick4Life has been drawn against Thaba-Bosiu Selection Squad in the first match at 9am, and Machokha will entertain LSP at 11am. The finals will be played on the same day.
