Bakoena departs for US to begin scholarship
Family members, friends and K4L representatives gathered at Moshoeshoe 1 Airport today to wish Bakoena Ramakatsa well as he travels across the world to pursue his dreams.
The young player is on his way to the United States where he will begin a an academic and football scholarship at Lewis & Clark Community College, studying Liberal Arts and Sciences for two years.
Having joined the Kick4Life Academy in 2017, Bakoena thanked stated last week: “I came in as a young boy but today I stand here as an 18-year-old matured player, fully aware of what’s around me. I promise to work hard and continue raising the flag of Kick4Life and Lesotho."
