Kick4Life is pleased to announce the appointment of Shalane Lehohla as the new head coach of the senior women’s team.
Lehohla’s arrival follows the departure of former head coach Elizabeth Yelimala, who parted ways with the club on 31 December 2025 after 12 years with the team..
Lehohla joins Kick4Life after concluding his tenure as head coach of men’s Premier League side Matlama FC on 20 January 2026. In addition, Lehohla currently serves as head coach of the national senior women’s team, Mehalalitoe, making him a strong and fitting addition to the Kick4Life technical leadership.
The official unveiling took place on 27 January 2026 and was facilitated by Kick4Life’s Academy Manager ’Mahapiloe Putsoane. During the event, Kick4Life Executive Committee Chairperson Baba Malephane warmly welcomed Lehohla and expressed confidence in his ability to guide the team to future success.
Lehohla is no stranger to Kick4Life, having previously worked with both the club’s women’s and men’s teams. In his remarks, he pledged to work tirelessly to build on the club’s ambitions and stated that he is eager to compete for honours and deliver trophies for the team.
Kick4Life Co-founder Steve Fleming said: “We would like to thank Lizzy for the outstanding job she did for Kick4Life from 2013-2025, guiding us to out first major trophy, the Super League Cup in 2018, the Dare to Dream Trophy in 2021, and the Women’s Super League title and participation in the CAF Women’s Champions League last year. We wish her well for the future, and at the same time welcome Shalane as we look to build on this success in the years to come.”
