Kick4Life Women delivered a stellar performance on Saturday, securing a 3-1 victory over Berea Ladies in the Women’s Super League, retaining their top spot in the standings.
The match, held at PTC grounds, saw Kick4Life take early control, with Tholoana T’soaeli breaking the deadlock seven minutes into the game. However, an own goal by Lisebo Lesaoana gifted Berea an unexpected equaliser and the score was 1-1 going into the break.
Kick4Life pushed hard to regain the advantage and in the 70th minute Nyakallo found the back of the net after an brilliant pass from Reitumetse Namane which dissected Berea’s defence. As the game neared its conclusion, Itumeleng Phiri put the final nail in the coffin with a superb goal, flicking the ball over the last defender with her heel before calmly lobbing the Berea keeper.
The win sees K4L stay top of the Women’s Super League with title rivals LDF sticking close behind after a 1-0 win over Lljabatho.
