Kick4Life’s senior men’s team, Juventude, secured a spot in the semi-finals of the Nedbank 8 championship with victory over Members FC, the 2024/25 A-Division Southern Stream winners. After the quarter-final ended 2-2 in regular time, Kick4Life held their nerve to win 5-4 on penalties, converting all of their spot kicks.
The team is now set to take on Qoaling Highlanders in what promises to be an exciting semi-final clash this Saturday, 17th May, at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena.
This win over Members was more than just a semi-final ticket — it was a moment of redemption. Just a year ago, Kick4Life faced Members in the tournament final, falling 4–2. That memory clearly fuelled the team’s determination, as they came back from 2-0 down to take the game to penalties, and victory.
A win on Saturday would see Kick4Life into the Nedbank 8 final on Sunday, 18th May — an opportunity to make history and bring the trophy home.
