The Kick4Life Senior Women hosted Lijabatho Ladies at Liraoheleng Ground on Sunday in a thrilling encounter that ended in a 1–1 draw, marking the teams’ second stalemate of the season after a goalless first-round match.
The breakthrough came in the 70th minute. Mats’ukulu Motloheloa delivered a well-struck free kick that was on target, only for the goalkeeper to make a strong save. The ball hit the crossbar, and Tholoana Ts’oaeli was perfectly positioned to head in the rebound, sending the home crowd into celebration.
Kick4Life pressed forward to extend their lead, but Lijabatho Ladies showed resilience, keeping the home side at bay until the final moments. In a dramatic finish, the visitors snatched an equaliser in the 90th minute, levelling the score and leaving the home supporters stunned.
Despite the late setback, the match highlighted Kick4Life’s attacking intent and fighting spirit. After this result, the team dropped from 2nd to 3rd place on the league table but remain strong contenders as the season progresses.
