Kick4Life Juventude edged a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Quthing LMPS FC in the A Division on Sunday, after travelling to Quthing for their penultimate league match of the first round.

Heavy rains over recent weeks left the pitch muddy and difficult to play on. Referees and match officials allowed both teams to decide whether to proceed, and after agreement, the match kicked off 30 minutes later than the scheduled 15:00 start.

The opening half proved challenging, with players frequently slipping as they attempted to control the ball or accelerate. As the match progressed, however, both sides gradually adapted to the difficult surface, and the first half ended goalless.

Sensing the need for more pace and physicality, Kick4Life’s coach introduced Bakuena Masupha at the start of the second half, replacing Itorobong Edem. The decision paid off almost immediately. Masupha made an instant impact, scoring 15 minutes after coming on, delivering what would stand as the decisive goal of the match.

Kick4Life held firm to secure a 1–0 win, extending their unbeaten run since the start of the season. The result marked their fifth victory, adding to three draws from eight matches, and keeping them at the top of the table.

The team now looks ahead to their final fixture of the first round on 13 December against Summit FC, aiming to head into the Christmas break unbeaten and still occupying the number one spot.
