Kabelo Ngatane arrived in Wrexham on Friday, becoming Kick4Life’s first student to begin a scholarship at university in the UK.
The opportunity for Kabelo to study Football and Community Development at Wrexham University, on a course created and delivered jointly with the Wrexham AFC Foundation, is the latest high impact outcome of our twinning partnership, and a further extension of a longstanding national link between Wales and Lesotho 🏴 🇱🇸
Through our partnership with Thetsane High School, Kabelo joined Kick4Life 10 years ago and has been supported through our programmes ever since, achieving success on the pitch and in the classroom
We look forward to following Kabelo’s journey in Wrexham, from his university studies, to playing football and supporting the brilliant work of the Foundation in the local community.
