On Thursday, 12 February, the Kick4Life Executive Committee officially welcomed and unveiled ten new players who have joined the Club’s Women’s and Men’s teams competing in the Lesotho Women’s Super League and the Men’s A-Division League respectively. The new additions include five women and five men, further strengthening both squads ahead of the next phase of the season.
On the women’s side, Kick4Life welcomes ’Mathabo Mapalane from LCS FC Ladies and Thato Tlaba from Hunters FC Ladies, alongside three players promoted from the Kick4Life Junior Women’s Team: Takane Makara, Hlompho Lets’oara and ’Mapaseka Nkoakoa.
The men’s team adds Lehlohonolo Khaile from B-Division side Snipers FC, as well as two promotions from the Kick4Life Development Team: Ts’epo Makoae and Sefatsa Monethi. Completing the list are two familiar faces returning to the Juventude squad: Manama Hlojeng, who spent the first round of the season on loan at LCS FC, and Makhabane Ramosele, who previously left Kick4Life on a permanent transfer to Lioli FC and now rejoins the Club on a six-month loan agreement from Lioli.
In addition to the new players, Kick4Life has appointed Mr Lefoka Adoro as Volunteer Assistant Coach for the men’s team, Juventude. Coach Adoro holds a CAF C Licence and brings recognised coaching credentials, experience and a strong commitment to the game. He previously guided Coaching Swallows FC to the Lesotho Nedbank 8 and has played an instrumental role in developing players who have progressed to Lesotho’s national teams.
Chairman of the Kick4Life FC Executive Committee, Mr Baba Malephane, warmly welcomed the new players and Coach Adoro, encouraging them to quickly adapt to the Kick4Life way. He emphasised the Club’s three core pillars — Football, Academics and Character Enrichment — which remain central to the Kick4Life Academy philosophy.
Kick4Life looks forward to the positive impact these additions will bring both on and off the pitch.
