Kick4Life Juventude won 1-0 against Lilemela FC on Sunday October 20th at Sefikeng.
Following three goalless draws, K4L started the game with a high tempo, creating several great chances in the first half of the game, without being able to convert. The deadlock was finally broken on the 50th minute with Paseka Maile striking high into the goal after a good move down the right, netting K4L’s first goal of the season.
After going behind, hosts Lilemela began pressing and created several good chances, with an incident in the last two minutes of the game seeing three players sent off: one Lilemela player, Pheta Lejaha, and two Kick4Life players, Lerole Motinyane and Thabo Khasane.
Despite going down to nine men, K4L managed to hang on in the closing moments to secure their first win of the 2024/25 campaign, and to keep their fourth clean sheet in four games played so far.
