The Kick4Life Senior Women travelled to Quthing on Sunday to face Villa FC Ladies and returned home with an impressive 3–0 victory, collecting three valuable points on International Women’s Day.
The match started slowly as both teams adjusted to a challenging pitch, but as the players settled, the tempo of the game gradually improved. Kick4Life broke the deadlock in the 36th minute when Mpolokeng Liphamamo found the back of the net after a well-timed assist from BoiketloMolise, giving the visitors a 1–0 lead at halftime.
The second half remained competitive, with both teams fighting hard to change the scoreline. A highlight for the spectators came when Coach Shalane Lehohla introduced two young players recently promoted from the Kick4Life Junior Women’s team, Takane Makara and Hlompho Lets’oara, in the 70th and 80th minutes Their arrival brought fresh energy to the game, and the youngsters quickly showed why they had earned their promotion, adding excitement and creativity to Kick4Life’s play. With the crowd cheering and singing in support, the atmosphere lifted the players on the field. Boiketlo Molise then extended Kick4Life’s lead to 2–0 in the 85thminute before sealing the victory with another goal in the 88th minute, completing her impressive brace.
The match ended 3–0 in favour of Kick4Life Senior Women, a result that keeps the team firmly in second position on the league table as they continue their strong campaign.
