Champions Kick4Life Women wrapped up the 2024/25 Lesotho Women’s Super League with a 10-goal win against Thaba Tseka Ladies, ensuring they completed the season undefeated.
Just one minute into the match, Nteboheleng Mohoshela netted the opening goal, which was swiftly followed by Tholoana Ts’oaeli in the 5th minute, bringing the score to 2-0. Reitumetse Namane extended the lead in the 19th minute, making it 3-0. Tholoana Ts’oaeli continued her goal-scoring run by hitting the back of the net twice in the 24th and 26th minutes, completing her hat-trick. Eleven minutes later, in the 37th minute, Mats’ukulu Motloheloa scored the sixth goal, giving Kick4Life Women a comfortable advantage at the break.
Two minutes into the second half, Tholoana resumed her scoring spree, adding a second half hat trick to reach a total of six goals for the match, before being substituted to make way for another youngster, Katleho Ntsiki. Tholoana’s six-goal performance propelled her to the top of the team’s goal-scoring chart, surpassing Nyakallo Taole, who had led the standings since the league’s start. Tholoana netted 15 goals, all scored in six matches during the second leg of the league. As the match drew to a close, Molemo Mokhothu netted the much-anticipated 10th goal, sealing the victory.
Kick4Life Women were officially crowned WSL champions in the presence of officials from the Lesotho Football Association, members of the Kick4Life Executive Committee, and team sponsor, Mergence Investment Managers Lesotho, who presented a cheque for M10,000 to Kick4Life as a gesture of congratulations.
