On Saturday, August 24th, Andrew Kaufteil, a specialist and expert in higher education from San Francisco, visited Kick4Life to conduct an impactful seminar on US college scholarships and admissions for the club’s U15 and U17 teams, as well as the senior men’s and women’s squads.
During the seminar, he discussed the requirements, including writing personal statements and essays, community service, and extracurricular activities. Kaufteil emphasized that scholarship boards are interested in candidates who aim to make a positive impact and bring change to communities. He encouraged players to engage more in community activities and include these experiences in their applications as they greatly enhance their profiles.
