Through our voluntary club representative scheme we are looking to engage with football supporters across the country who would like to work with Kick 4 Life by promoting our work with their clubs and amongst their fellow supporters.
There is no job description or person spec. It could involve writing to players to gain sponsorship or endorsement for our projects; it could be letting fans know about us on the club’s online forum. You could be a life-long local supporter, or maybe be a ten year-old fanatic from the other side of the world. All that’s required is an eagerness to get involved.
If you’re interested follow these simple steps:
- Check out the register of representatives and find out whether there’s already a rep for your club. If so, don’t worry – you can always contact them and offer your support, or email us and we’ll put you on our waiting list.
- If the position is vacant, contact us and let us know that you’d like to become a club rep. Send us your name, details of the club you support and some basic ideas for how you are going to help us. We will be in touch shortly.
- If you’re successful you will hold the position for a year, after which we will review your status and hopefully ask you to stay on for another 12 months!
The benefits of becoming a club rep include:
- The chance to be involved in an exciting project that uses the game you love to help some of the world’s most desperate people
- Becoming part of a growing network of club reps across the world. We will be sharing information and ideas amongst the group on a regular basis.
- Having something great to put on your CV, and if you do a good job, we’ll back you up with a reference.
- Invitation to our annual club reps event and awards night.
- Managing your team in our annual club supporters 6-a-side tournament.
Still interested? If so, get in touch now.
