The K4L All Stars is a football team that aims to make lasting improvements for some of the poorest people in the world. The concept is simple: travel, play football, change lives.
We are now looking for players of all abilities for a 12-day tour of Lesotho in February 2009. As part of the team you will:
- Play against local teams in front of hundreds of supporters.
- Run AIDS education sessions at local schools and orphanages. Full training will be provided before leaving the UK.
- Visit local AIDS project to see how the money you raise will make a difference.
- Go on an adventure trip to Lesotho's beautiful mountain region.
If you don’t fancy playing football but would like to come, we are also looking for up to ten people for our essential support crew who will be involved in general organisation, promotion of the matches and helping with the AIDS education sessions.
To take part you must be over 18, and raise a minimum of £2200 which will cover flights, accommodation, full board, transport, a range of activities, and a large donation to charity.
